Today I will be discussing what are the top 10 best wallpaper and background apps to liven up your home screen! There are thousands of wallpaper apps to choose from in this day and age and in this article I have restricted it to the 10 best wallpaper and background apps available in the Play Store.

AmoledPix is one of my favourite wallpaper apps because of its ease of use, the variety of different wallpapers to choose from, and in general the beautiful backgrounds that you can find for your own liking within just a few seconds of navigating and scrolling around the app. You can view the latest wallpapers, randomized wallpapers, choose from categories, look at the most popular wallpapers, follow artists and even keep track of the wallpapers that you have liked.

2. Zedge

Zedge is an extremely popular app that not only caters for your wallpaper needs but also provides you with ringtones. But that’s not what you’re here for. We are here for wallpapers, and Zedge provides you with the most high quality and high definition wallpapers out there. You can also view live wallpapers. Zedge is extremely popular, with 100 million downloads on the Play Store, meaning that the app is very reliable and that wallpapers are constantly added to the app. If you are looking for thousands of high quality wallpaper options then Zedge is a great app for you.

3. Abstruct

If you’re looking for very artistic and minimalist backgrounds than Abstruct is a great app. Abstruct provides you with abstract wallpapers, as suggested by its name, and is created by Hampus Olsson, the designer for all of the wallpapers on OnePlus phones. Neoline is another unique wallpaper app that only gives you one wallpaper, but it is a pretty cool one, I promise you that! It is a live 3D wallpaper that moves as you move your screen. It truly seems 3D, and the coolest thing is when you tilt or move your screen, because the 3D wallpaper moves as you tilt your screen, amazing… right!

WalP is also unique in the fact that it gives you the default wallpapers from different phone brands. It has literally got wallpapers from every phone brand you can think of, from Sony to Apple and Samsung. Default phone wallpapers are always of high quality because it is used to advertise the phone, so this app certainly gives you a selection of wonderful backgrounds to choose from.

10. Vectorify da home

Again, this is quite a distinctive app, that is simple and very easy to use. As the name suggests, you will be able to choose from simple vector images from 20 different categories. Once you have chosen a vector image you can change the accent colours to make the image look to your liking. Then you can make simple edits such as changing the size and position of the vector image. Once again this is a very simple app and is great if you want to keep your phone background looking clean and straightforward.
